Member of the Residents Association, Yacht Club and Foreshore Committee came together on the weekend to have a working bee and do some maintenance around the Village.
Gravel was ordered, delivered and spread around some of the muddy patches of the tennis court walkway between Surf St as well as some filling of puddles and potholes near the Yacht Club carpark.
Some clearing of pipes and drains near the toilet block in the foreshore was undertaken to help the stormwater flow better in the future.
There was some damage to beach path adjacent Yacht Club following the significant rains early last week, so some sand was moved around to reduce any trip hazards and erosion and the result is much better.
Thanks to those residents that cleared any bark and debris from culverts and pipes during the rains to ensure that the stormwater system works as best it can, these little things make a big difference.
Enjoy the improvements and get in touch if you have any concerns about any part of the village that you would like the Residents Association to investigate!
