Foreshore Planting Working Bee

Meet behind the Tennis Courts – Merricks Foreshore
We have a large number of plants to plant! Come along to the planting working bee, we will be working in a number of locations along Surf St. There will be a bit of weeding and mulch spreading too. All helpers very welcome.
Refreshments provided. Drop in for a chat.
What to bring/wear:
- appropriate clothes and sturdy footwear
- sun smart attire: hats, long sleeves, sunscreen
- gloves
- equipment for planting and weeding (small spades & trowels etc)
- mallet for driving stakes into the ground for tree guards
- shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows for moving mulch
All children, their families and carers are welcome. A reminder that children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their care and wellbeing.
