I first met Shirley over 40 years ago in Bendigo and we had a mutual connection in Merricks Beach! Shirley and her late husband Mervyn first visited their friends, Ann and Simon Jaski, at Merricks Beach and fell in love with it. Eventually Shirley got her wish to have her own house down here, where she and Mervyn enjoyed many summers with their daughters, Joellen and Liza and their families.
Sadly, Shirley Ann Griffin died on 10th October, 2020.
Shirley was stylish, friendly, kind and inclusive. Her Girl’s Nights were legendary.
